My friend and I were at Pasir Ris Park cycling and wanted to grab a snack before I going to another place. We went to White Sands Shopping Centre and saw this chicken cutlet store (豪大大鸡扒). I have tried this in 西门町 before but it did not leave an impression. Yet, no harm in trying this again in Singapore. I have tried the chicken cutlet from 士林台湾小吃 at Causeway Point which I felt was too oily and has a lot of fat under the layer of crisp . What I like about 士林台湾小吃 is that they help you cut the chicken into manageable pieces.
There are set meals too. (Below)
豪大大鸡扒 offers many flavours of chicken cutlet (basically sprinkling the flavoured powder on the chicken cutlet). I chose the garlic one.
You are served chicken cut into two, one with bone. You probably can’t see the garlic powder, but it is whitish in color. I like the chicken here as it is not oily and the meat is lean. This costs $4.90. I would recommend this to anyone as a midday snack.
